Manitwo Flyers Club Meeting

Meeting called to order by pres. Lloyd Federer.

Role taken 8 members present including 3 officers

Treasurer’s Report read by Tom Curelli. 

1.$280 income for a total of  $8,556.87 in account.

2.Motion to approve by Lew Stevens, seconded by Doug Hahn, unanimously passed.

1. Al Howarth updated status of issues; see old business below.

Old Business

1. Al received a Letter from IRS.  IRS closed our case due to lack of response.  90 days to respond from January 5.  Jim’s attorney office to act.

2.Al talked to Curt Drumm.  1^st Meeting for Spring Fling to be January 24 @ 6:30

New Business

1. Fox Hills, July 4 weekend, participate or not?  Tabled for now.

2. Airport Days, June 7-9, participate or not?

A)Consensus is: if we participate, we should be payed like the Northern Aces.

3. Memorial Day Parade:  A float takes time, but may generate interest.  Do we make a float or not.  If so, willing bodies needed.

4. Vince to continue work on club brochure.

5. Tom will send out a letter to include: mission statement and update letter; sent to past and present members.

A) Lew made motion that the letter be sent via snail mail to people without computers/email.  Club to foot bill for postage.  Seconded by Vince, motion carried.

6.Lew stated that with field conditions, our mower will last this year, no more.  A) Club decided to wait for 501C-3 status in order to hopefully acquire Aaron’s mower.
