i. An appeal letter has been submitted to the IRS, stating again that we were unaware that we needed to file a return. We are waiting to see the outcome of this
ii. It has been learned that tax free does not equal tax return free. Who knew?
- Field:
- Grass won’t be cut anymore this season
- Irrigation system has been cleared out for the season
- The well has been covered for winter
- The plane stands on the field will be blocked up at an angle such that snow will slide off of them. If you use them in the colder months, when done, block them back up.
- Lew thanked all who helped cut the field this year, and all others who contributed to helping out at the field.
- Fond Du Lac field has an old mower for sale, they purchased 2 years ago, something to think about.
- Educational Activities
- 7 planes have been donated. The remaining two, Al has asked Tower Hobbies to donate.
i. The planes should be ready to fly in the spring (April
ii. The children should be able to keep the planes if they pass a proficiency test?
