Jet Rally
Will be held July 10th, 11th & 12th. Al Howarth brought us up to speed on his progress so far. The Optimist Club will be handling the food. We will still be handling water and soda. Al was also able to get three sets of bleachers. Advertising is going well. It was mentioned that the status of our raffle license should be looked into. The list of donations is growing steadily. The blast gates are in process and will be at the field soon. Al will also be taking care of the safety warning signs that will be posted at the meet in case of accidents. The electrical box needs to be looked into. It must be enclosed or waterproof, so as not to violate code. We need to work on where to place direction signs so people can get to the show. We will also need to get permission from property owners to put up the signs. Al brought up the possibility of renting a tent for storage of the plane overnight. Al will look into it further

Field Problems
The runway centerline needs to be painted on. Jim S will check into, and asked if anyone knows of who could help us out with this, to please call him. Runway barrier at the end of the north/south runway needs addressing. Jim S concerned about other areas that need to be fenced also. Al Howarth has some of the fencing covered. Jim Schneck will bring drawings with him, to the May meeting, of ideas he has. Jim S noted that there are some areas on the field that need to be filled. He also reminded everyone that we still need people to come out to the field for a spring clean-up.
