Business
- IRS
- The accountant stated that we should wait to hear back from the IRS prior to proceeding with any further payment or action. “No news is good news.”
- Educational Activities
- Al reported that the first night went well! The second night was a bit “wilder” due to the excitement of the kids. It is sometimes hard to supervise serious construction under excited conditions.
- Lakeshore CAP is very pleased and gracious thus far!
- Field Development
- There will be a meeting at Jim’s including Al, Lloyd, Jim, and Russ to discuss layout of the field, etc.
- Russell got quotes for the Pavillions (see quotation handouts from Nov. meeting).
- Lloyd brought in a CAD printout of the proposed field layout detail
- It was reported that Bryan Glasier stated all asphalt and other construction done by the County will be complete by June 1!
- A culvert pipe will need to be run underneath the 75’ wide runway, attention will need to be paid to this operation.
- Elections
- Russell Havorsen was nominated to be the President for 2008 by Gene Pagel. 2nd by Lloyd. Russ did not deny or accept the nomination at the time; he will consider it.
- A Secretary is still needed!
i. Chuck Wernecke has volunteered to stay on at Vice President; thanks Chuck!
ii. Fred Scholz has offered to be Treasurer, thanks Fred!
- Open Floor:
- Fred noted that the Calumet Flyers have increased the size of their field with their current construction, and Fond Du Lac has done the same.
