Curt Drumm mentioned to Francis Duffy about the possibility of giving people flights at Airport Days-Need to look into insurance for that.  This led to quite a lively discussion.  We need to contact AMA about coverage.  The instructors need to be certified.

Eric Cayemberg ordered Video tapes and they sent DVD’s instead-should we keep them? Motion raised and approved to keep them.

Website name is up for renewal --$29/year           60-days to renew

Website is up for renewal also $108/year

Field committee:  would like to set up a board to make field decisions. They would only have access to field changes and money that would be donated, not the club dues.  If club money is needed from the general fund then this would still have to be voted upon.

Discussed expenses for new field-   field dues increases, talked about dues cost and justifying the expense.  Currently there is a 15 year plan for the field.  The first year to to establish access and the grass field.  Basically to replace what we have now.  The following years to add improvements gradually as the funds allow.

There was also a heated debate on why the current lease is not going to be renewed.

AMA – we sent in required forms for grants for 2004 by due date

Lots of questions on where the money is coming from? Are the Donations credible?

Last year we had  44 members with another 7 utes.  What’s a ute.  As of the time of the meeting there wer 10 members paid in funll with 5 other members that paid the per last years pay schedule.

Green Bay lost 40% of their new members.

Young Eagles? Are we interested this year?  Young Eagles is through the local AMA chapter.  Last year Jack Schoenberger and John Coenen worked on this.

AMA Leader club status –do we fit requirements

Tom Curelli is compiling a list of the AMA documents and when done will have a book filled with all of the pertinent information.

If we are to be moving to a new field should we spend money on the current field, including weed killer, etc.
