We broke even and improved the field in the process.  All to follow up with a questionnaire sent to the participants, and will share the results with the club.

*Electrical outlets are in.

*Tables:  May need more tables in the future.

*Flight stations/fencing:  Jim Schneck suggested the fencing needs to be moved to

accommodate for space and safety.  Jim made a motion to turn the fence, Jean Pagel second – motion carried.  Fence to the west will be left as is.

*Air show:  No word yet if the club will be paid.

*Run way drainage:  Talking about putting in a trench.  Will need 225-250 feet of drain    tile, 4” wide.  Jim Schneck will get pricing.

*Flight Education Day:  As time is running out this day will be scheduled for 2010.

*Noise:  Noise levels were checked at the jet rally and seem to be acceptable @ 52  decibels.

New Business:

*The club has been approached in regard to a track for trucks & cars.

Will discuss more at a later date.

*Field: Wes’s needs to repair the sickle on his mower.  The cost would be $135.00.  Lou Stevens made a motion the club pick up the cost, (as Wes has helped us out so much). Gene Pagel 2nd motion carried.  A suggestion was made to also give Wes a gift certificate for his help in addition to the mower repair.

*Soda & Water - Sell water for $2.00 case.  Sell soda at the field until it starts freezing.                    Everyone was in agreement.

*Lies:  Al Howarth will check into.

*Grill:  The one we have is junk.  Do we get a new one?  Fred Scholz will check on prices for the next meeting.

*Manitowoc CAP - It was mentioned the kids may be losing interest in the program.  We  need to figure out with Ishi what to do in regard to the planes at the field.   We should maybe look into a new program, possible parent child combination, or maybe the Scouts or 4-H.  Also possibly advertise on radio or in newspaper.  Al will work with Ishi about the planes. Will talk more about this after the first of the year.

*Lou Stevens suggested the books for the club be audited.  This was voted in last year,

and will be taken up at August meeting.

*Lou Stevens questioned who is to obey field rules . All contestants need to have a copy  of the field rules in order to fly from this point on. Al Howarth agreed that we need to supply this copy to all participants, and we need to have a field marshal on sight to enforce the rules.  An effort needs to be made by our members to obey and enforce the field rules.  The rules will need to be updated and posted at the field.

Jim Schneck motioned the meeting be adjourned, Gene Pagel 2nd.  Motion carried.
